The Town Clerk:
Maintains official records of adopted ordinances, local laws, oaths of office etc.
Issues State licenses and permits to Town residents for the following:
Dogs
Marriage
Handicap Permits
Conservation
Transfer Station stickers
Acts as registrar for birth and death certificates.
Coordinates all Town and general elections.
Administrator of the Freedom of Information Law.
Is the Records Management Officer for the Town of Gorham.
